These terms cover the Maloy Hair text message (SMS) program for appointment confirmations and reminders. Maloy Hair is operated by Alex Warren at Tilted Halo salon studio, 113 Lexington Circle, Peachtree City, GA 30269. By providing your phone number and agreeing to receive texts when you book an appointment, you accept these terms.
How you opt in
You opt in by giving verbal consent in person or by phone when scheduling an appointment with Maloy Hair. At that time, your phone number is entered into our scheduling system by Maloy Hair staff so we can send you appointment-related texts. Our staff asks for this consent using language like the following:
"Before I book you in, would you like text reminders from Maloy Hair for your appointment? We'll send a confirmation, then reminders about 2 days and 2 hours before your visit — up to 3 messages per appointment. Message and data rates may apply. You can text STOP anytime to opt out. Sound good?"
What we'll send you
- A confirmation message when your appointment is booked.
- A reminder approximately 48 hours before your appointment.
- A reminder approximately 2 hours before your appointment.
You can reply to certain messages to manage your appointment — for example, replying C to confirm or X to cancel. Message frequency varies depending on how many appointments you book; expect up to 3 messages per appointment.
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
How to opt out
Reply STOP to any message at any time to stop receiving texts from us. You'll receive one final confirmation message. You can also ask us by phone or email to remove your number — see contact info below. Opting out of texts does not cancel any scheduled appointment; please contact us directly to reschedule or cancel.

Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Our use of your information, including your phone number, is described in our Privacy Policy. We do not share mobile opt-in data or phone numbers with third parties for marketing purposes.

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
